Day 6: A song that makes you cry.
“Please don’t take my sunshine away…”
Day 6: A song that makes you cry.
“Please don’t take my sunshine away…”
Day 5: A photo of something you really hate.

I don't hate Jerry but the REAL one!!
Day 3: A photo of you and your friends.
I will defy this one and put a couple of photos of my friends instead of just one.

I used to play competitive badminton back in my primary school days. And ever since then, I’ve never played another proper game of badminton. I’ve always wanted to have a partner/friend to play it with but never found one.
During one of our Mustafa-raiding nights, I decided to check out the badminton rackets. There were cheap ones and I decided to buy one for each of us. We just don’t know when we’d play a game of badminton then.
Now that the 12-week LoseToWin program has ended, I was worried in the beginning that I won’t be disciplined to keep up with sports. But I was pleasantly surprised when our friend booked a court and asked us along.
We’ve started playing badminton on Monday and because it was so much fun, we decided to book for another session yesterday. Today, we booked another session for tomorrow! I’ve gotten addicted to playing badminton! I’m loving it!
And after putting on the extra weight during our KL week, I managed to put them off with the past 2 badminton sessions. If I continue with 3 sessions of badminton in a week, InsyaAllah I can reach my ideal weight by the new year!
Wish me luck!!
Day 2: The meaning behind your name.
Khairin Nazeera; an Arabic name chosen by my mother.
Khairin means goodness or kindness, while Nazeera means a lady who leads; if I remember correctly.
I believe the name molded the person I am today. The name Khairin is being shared among my 3 other sisters; all of us have the name Khairin before our individual names.
We had to miss on Double Trouble when they came to Larkin, Johor during the mid-year, I know that the Wan wouldn’t want to miss it when Amy was coming to Singapore.
He got our tickets a little later and we couldn’t get any tickets nearer to the stage. But well, it was damn worth it from where we were seated anyway.
Amy, even at 52, didn’t disappoint and still have the voice we heard years ago in the 1980′s.

It was an impromptu suggestion which took on a serious turn. We casually mentioned about wanting to spend time in KL. In less than 2 weeks, we got everything booked and confirm.
Era & Ajan, together with Noi agreed to spend 3 days in KL for some destressing (read: eating), shopping and just spend some quality time. So we, Wan & I, decided we should extend our stay to settle our business matters too.
We found a good deal through zuji.com and booked Piccolo Hotel; a new hotel right in the heart of Bukit Bintang. It’s like you are living right in the middle of Orchard Road. The price was so good that we decided to extend our stay there for the whole week.
I don’t remember travelling with friends before. Seriously I think it was the first time I traveled out of Singapore with a group of friends; my closest group of friends.
I got so excited that I planned out a rough itinerary for us to follow through. But of course, the fellas got all too excited and we ended up in at KBox on our first night and spent 5 hours karaoke-ing! It was definitely the best time of my life where I laughed so much and had so much fun.

After a whole 3-days of fun, it was back to work for us. I miss traveling around in the RapidKL. Do you know that they have good reception even when the train was underground? In Singapore, once you get into Braddell, poof! there goes your phone reception. Baaaaaaah!
They say, as you get older your circle of friends get smaller. I can see my 3 different groups of friends and one very dear ex-colleague that will stay with me throughout old age. I am so grateful for all of them.
